RANDALL STUBBS

Stubbs has been performing and producing multi-cultural events in the states for more than 15 years and in Tanzania for the past 18 years. He has an extensive background also in music and theatre stage production. He was the author of the proposal that led to this Cultural Arts Centre project at Makumira and is passionate about preserving and promoting Tanzanian culture for local and international audiences.
GLORIA EWALD
Assistant Manager
Bachelor in tourism management, Sokoine University of Agriculture. She has been working with CAC for nine years, prior to working with CAC she worked in the tourism industry, including at KLM safaris, and Responsible Tourism Tanzania.
Glory was one of the first people hired when CAC started, she has been involved in administrative tasks, logistics, managing, organising and interacting with clients.
EMMANUEL NDALE
Technical Director
Emmanuel holds a M.A. in education management from St. Augustine University, a B.A. in Music from Tumaini University Makumira, and a diploma in arts from the Taasisi ya Sanaa na Utamaduni Bagamoyo (TaSUBa). He has performed with different groups, such as the first Umoja Flying Carpet in East Africa (2013). As well as his work at the CAC he is a lecturer in the music department at Tumaini University Makumira.
ABASI MKOMWA
Abasi began learning to dance traditional dances while in primary school, and then continued at the Parapanda Theatre Lab Trust, Baba Watoto Centre, Dogodogo Centre, and Music Mayday. He plays bass, guitar and drums, and has performed at many different festivals including DoaDoa, Bayimba and Sauti za Busara.
BRAYSON SILAS
Many people like to imitate Brayson's dancing style. He's developed a unique approach to dancing that quickly identifies him. He hails from Kilimanjaro where he performed with different groups before joining the project. Aside from dancing and playing drums he does acrobatics.
FAITH MWASHA
Faith began at the Kilimanjaro Wizard Group. She has acted with the Chinganga Arts Group. She studied at the Komboa Association Centre. She sings lead and backing vocals for the CAC fusion. The highlight of her career has been performing at DoaDoa performing arts fest.
GERALD MJOKONDE
Gerald holds a diploma in performing arts from Bagamoyo College of Arts. Highlights of his performance career were at the Expo festival, in Yeoso (South Korea) and at the Norway in Tanzania Exchange Program (NoTa) at the University of Stavenger (Norway).
Gerald has many different skills including dancing, drama, acrobatics, stilts, martial arts and playing flute. He also teaches zumba and body fitness.
JIMMY WABAGO
Originally from Tanga, Jimmy has a certificate in Music and Dance from the Taasisi ya Sanaa na Utamaduni Bagamoyo (TaSUBa). He has performed with many different groups such as Usinga, Imani Group Theatre, Akilimali Sanaa Group, Cheetah Group and Kaole Group. He is an expert at juggling hats, fire dance, and his Wabago solo.
LINGWANA CHANDE
Six started learning flute when he was 8 years old from his grandfather. Since then he has studied with different groups and performed at many festivals across the world including DoaDoa, Bayimba festival, Sauti za Busara, and the HIV Festival in Stratford, England.
OLIVER MREMA
Oliver began studying arts and music at the Komboa Association Centre in Moshi, then the Kilimanjaro Talent Group where she developed her skills in acting and dancing. The highlight of her time with CAC was performing at Sauti za Busara. She is currently learning to play drum kit.
REHEMA NDIMIRA
Rehema began dancing while studying at Uraki secondary school where she achieved a certificate in music. Before joining CAC she performed with the Makumira University Music Department. As well as dancing she teaches music theory at Uraki Secondary. Her highlight with CAC has been performing at Sauti za Busara in 2017 and 2018.
