Covid 19 social liaison officers training at CAC

Things has been quiet here due to world pandemic corona virus. We closed for 3 months and the university was opened again on early June. On July we hosted two trainings that involved tourism stakeholders. First training was 26 June 2020 organised by TATO (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators ) more than 100 tour operators attended and the second training was 10 July 2020 organised by HAT (Hotel Association of Tanzania )and more that 80 people attended.

Both training was aim to train covid 19 social liaison officers. it is a requirement from a government for each company to have a covid 19 liaison officer . The host brought doctors which educated the participants on COVID 19 and safety procedures. Participants got chance to ask questions and section ended on customer service presentation during corona virus. It was a very educative training with very helpful information.

We provided venue, tea and lunch to the participants. We also did small performance in the beginning of the training. It was good to have tour operators, tourism stakeholders at our facility and for us to get a chance to provide our service to them. This will make them have a confident to bring tourists to us and it was a good chance to show them what we can do.
