ISM Arts Trip at CAC

We did it again. For the third time now we at CAC hosted the Arts Trip for students from International School Moshi (ISM) and International School Moshi Arusha Campus (ISMAC) from 22nd to 24th May 2019. All ISM and ISMAC grade 8 students attended a Performing and Visual Arts Trip for three days at CAC including several workshops such as Dancing, Drumming, Making Drums, Tie Dyeing and Acting.

The students arrived early the first day to set up their tents, in which they slept for the time being of the trip. After a quick tour of the facilities we started the programme - with a little delay off course ;) The students were split into three groups with different tracks of activities - Track A and B focused on cultural activities, where as three students formed the stage crew and learnt everything about setting up the stage for a show.

The students did not only learn about cultural dance, drumming and arts, but practiced for a final show that marked the end of the Arts Trip on the last day. Just like in former years, we were delighted to watch their final performance with gigs of Drumming, Modern and Traditional Dancing, a Drama, presenting the tie dyed T-shirts and the Drum they made, without any blunders. We are pleased to announce that all students pass their tasks with flying colors and everyone went home with two T-shirts (CAC and Tie Dye) and a certificate handed over by Randall our CAC manager.
