Sound System Training
/We organised Sound System Training from 7-11 September 2020 Mwl Randall Stubbs and Emmanuel Ndale were the instructors . The course was 50 hours of instruction and practical exercises. The training was for both beginners and advanced sound engineers. Topics covered included purpose of a sound system, importance of acoustic, understanding the channel strip, Analogue vs Digital, Microphone types and best uses, good mixing, understanding instruments, sound engineer toolbox and picking the right equipment. Meals was included in the fee and accommodation was also available. Their schedule started at 8:0am -9pm with lunch and dinner breaks. The training kicked off well we had 18 students who were eager to learn, most of them were from churches and some from arts organisation. They came from different parts of Tanzania Arusha, Moshi , Dar and Tanga . Training ended well the trainees received certificates and were happy with the knowledge they got and were looking forward to put it into use. It was productive week.
